All Fall Down by Ally Carter

About:  This novel is about a girl whose mother is murdered under mysterious circumstances. She takes initiative and starts to investigate her mother’s murder.
Why I Recommend: It is a very suspenseful book that had me hooked until the very last page. Grace is such a persistent person who will not stop until she uncovers what happened to her mother. I love a good mystery and the ending was very shocking. I can’t wait for the next book!

This book made me feel like: 😅

Lumberjanes Volume 1: Beware the Kitten Holy by Noelle Stevenson

About:  Five best friends (Jo, April, Molly, Mal and Ripley) are at Lumberjane Scout Camp. They want to have an awesome summer, but they keep meeting all sorts of supernatural creatures. They must work as a team to defeat them all.
Why I Recommend: This was an awesome graphic novel and I like that all the girls in the novel are very tough. This story emphasizes the importance of friendship and team work. The illustrations are very colorful and make the story even more interesting. I especially like all the creepy creatures that come out.

My overall feelings for this book: 😄

Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen

About: This tells the story about a girl whose brother is the outgoing sibling in the family that everyone likes. When he gets convicted for a crime he committed, her parents are absolutely devastated. With him out of the picture she struggles to find her place in her family as well as accept herself as she is.
Why I Recommend: I love Sarah Dessen and all of her novels. This was a great story that proves that being yourself is the best thing to do. The Chathams were great because each of them helps Sydney feel accepted.

What I thought about this one:  😊
